This company is a Spanish-based firm engaged in the manufacture of eucalyptus and sulfate cellulose pulp. The company was founded in 1970. Its registered business office is located in Navia, Spain. It is registered as a limited company. The company is the European leader in eucalyptus pulp production, the first Spanish company to produce renewable energy with forestry and agricultural biomass and leader in Spain in the integral and responsible management of forest areas and crops. It has a production capacity of 930,000 tonnes / year of high quality eucalyptus pulp at its Navia (Asturias) and Pontevedra plants, in which it applies the most environmentally friendly technologies and continuous improvement processes to strengthen its competitiveness and its quality. It is committed to the development of a strong and sustainable forestry sector, for which it promotes forest certification and best management practices as a way of creating economic development, especially in rural areas. The company operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Grupo Empresarial Ence S.A, a company engaged in the manufacture and marketing of cellulose pulp and related by-products in Spain.
